  1. G'day Buddo's

I travelled across the plenty to Alice in Sept last year. Apart from a "few" kilometers of corrugations, nothing overly exciting.

You can't camp at Tobermorey anymore but there is another property (can't remember the name) a bit further on with fuel/shop, camping and a good shower - you can't miss it.

Hope the new trailer goes well and the driver training will pay off (he needed it anyway).

Wish we could go too. Have a great trip.

  2. Hi Wendy and Paul,
Your trip sounds absolutely wonderful and adventurous. You are going to parts of the country I never visited when I lived in Australia. Still hoping to get there one day, even though it's a lot further away now that I live in Italy ;-).
Your preparations seem to be thorough and it sounds like you could handle any emergency ...just please don't swim in croc-infested water.
Be sure to take plenty of photos to share with us on facebook and on your blog. I hope you have the time of your lives!!
Don & I look forward to seeing you when we are in Sydney in January 2009.
    Hugs to both of you,
    Catherine / Cathy
